Support Vaughan Families: BP’s Christmas Food & Clothing Drive

This holiday season, millions of Canadians face food insecurity, with over 2 million visits to food banks in March 2024 alone – a 90% increase since 2019. Families in Vaughan need our support more than ever.

At BP, we’re stepping up with our Annual Christmas Food & Clothing Drive, supporting two vital local initiatives:

  • Vaughan Food Bank: Providing food for those in need.
  • City of Vaughan’s Clothing Upcycling Program: Recycling and donating textiles to promote sustainability and help families stay warm this winter.

Together, we can support our community and make a tangible impact this holiday season.

Why Support Is Needed

  • 2 million food bank visits were recorded across Canada in March 2024, highlighting the growing crisis of hunger in our communities.
  • 85% of textiles end up in landfills each year, even though most can be recycled or repurposed.

By contributing food or gently used clothing, you’re not just helping individuals—you’re addressing two critical challenges: food insecurity and environmental sustainability.
